The positives of being beaten 4-0! (18/2)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The positives of being beaten 4-0! (18/2)

usual thread starter… well at least this lad wasn’t psychologically scarred by the experience and surreally seemed to get some enjoyment out of it. I’ll put this down to it being his first away game!

Given that we’ve raked over the coals of Saturday aplenty already, let’s use this thread for anyone to offer memories of their first away game…

My first away game was a REALLY boring 0-0 draw at Coventry in the 95/96 season.

As Alex Ferguson would say: "Do I look like a masochist ready to cut himself?".

First Away Game

The first away game I ever went to was so long ago I can`t remember who we played or what the score was or even if the team we played still exists.
If Harry ever decides to go into politics i`ll probably vote for him. :)

MY FIRST AWAY GAME WAS NORWICH 88/89

I WAS STUCK IN THE HOME END .MARWOOD MISSED A RETAKEN PENALTY AND WE DREW 0-0

WE DID GO ON TO WIN THE LEAGUE SO HOPEFULLY THE SAME WILL HAPPEN TO THE YOUNG LAD WHO WROTE THE PIECE.

I THINK I WAS SAME AGE TOO

Old Trafford is the second ugliest thing I’ve ever seen… how fitting that the most hideous thing I’ve ever seen plays inside the stadium with a number 10 on his back.
That is a quality

I've never gone to an away Arsenal match yet, although I had ideas about going to that Carling Cup semi this season
