" London 2012 will launch its official resale platform early next year where people can offer their tickets for resale at face value."
"Organisers will be processing the applications through to June 10"

I think this is only where they have tried to take payment but it has been rejected. I would expect to get an email though to say that there was a problem.1886 wrote:Apparently money can be taken from your account up until 10th June so there is still hope flash and Basil. I think there will also be a chance towards the end of June for those that got zilch this time around to purchase the remaining tickets on a first come, first served basis. Should be fun....
On Sky:
My account has not been debited, does that mean I haven't got tickets?
No. Games' organisers Locog hope to have taken all the payments by June 10. However, the majority of payments should have been taken by May 31.
Does this mean that those are the only tickets I will get at the Olympic Games?
No. If you have applied through the public ballot, you could have other debits from your accounts between now and June 10. This is because tickets from people unable to pay will be put back into the ballot and the next person on the reserve list will then have the cash debited.
If you are unsuccessful in securing any tickets in this round of sales, Locog will offer all unsold tickets via a direct sale in early July for a period of about a fortnight.
What happens if you don't have the cash in your Visa account when they debit the funds?
They will attempt to take the cash immediately a second time. If this is unsuccessful, they will contact you. After allowing a few days for you to put the money in your account, they will then try a third time. If this is unsuccesful your entire successful order will be cancelled.
