Odemwingie...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Theo makes great runs but we have nobody to pick him out. Watch Walcott play and he's constantly on the move looking to get in behind, the trouble is we don't have a DB10 who will pick him out and as has been said, he's not really a natural poacher or finisher. His finishing has improved a lot this year and I think his return shows that - 38 games, 13 goals, 10 assists - not great but better and pretty good from the right of midfield.

Sammy is that a pop at me ? :o I dont think at any stage I told you that I was right and you were wrong but I did say that I couldnt agree with what you and olgit said and that was put forward (with reasons) as my opinion and not as fact or anything like that.

If my response has pissed you off enough to have a pop at me then I am surprised cos it aint as if we had run in's prior to this (at least to the best of my memory) and I certainly meant no offence :?
you know what.... that was supposed to be at the end of the last post i made....fooking debug bollocks

but....

If Theo gets the playtime next season, he should be expected to haul 15. Because his improvement over four seasons has been there, but far too slight each year. Yes he has had some glimmering moments, but it's the consistency that is required.

Odemwingie? He wouldn't get played in his role and would thus probably not be a good fit at Arsenal. Have liked what I've seen from him though, calm and clinical in front of net when he needs to be.

 It's come to a sad state of affairs when we are linked to players from the bottom end of the P/L instead of the top quality from Europe!!.

I admit i side with Augie on this one and i don't expect wenger to surprise us in the transfer window but acquire players just to sustain our position in the top 4.Top 4 is the new 1st you know.
