Cesc saga ending?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

if he was going to buy a replacement (which he won't) he should have bought one first , to sell him for £50 mill will mean we will be held to ransom over any new signing.

As the last two seasons (the end) have shown without Fabregas we don't win many do we.

Does anyone seriously expect us to atleast spend the money taken for Cesc ?

Hopefully we will get a decent price or a swap deal and this can all finally be over.
Lets hope it gets done ASAP

I love him as a player but he's got Barca in his heart, is Spanish, has friends and family there etc so I don't blame him if he wants to return.

However, imo his heart hasn't been in his play this season and, by his own high standards, he's been disappointing. I want him to stay but this will he/ won't he saga every season hacks me off and I think it leads to an air of uncertainty at the Club. If there's 40+ mil about I think we should take it, provided we spend it!

I see only tough times ahead :(
Cesc will go, Nasri will stay, that is the rumour that Nasri won't sign if Cesc stays as he is fed up on the wing.

I think we should sell him if the offer from Barça is right. He doesn't want to be here and a player of his quality deserves to play football with Messi, Xavi and Iniesta instead of Rosicky, Denilson and Bendtner.

Last year I really wanted him to stay, but I won't be bothered if he goes now. However, I don't want to think about both Cesc and Nasri, that would leave our midfield without any creativity.

Not this again. Wait till it bloody happens. The amount of times last year a 'deal' had been struck became ridiculous.

Just wait and see, don't believe a fucking word of it until he's actually gone.

He needs to go early so the club can't use a late sale as an excuse to no spend the money.

He also wont go until after all memberships are sorted. Today is the last day to renew red and silver. And any new memberships are available from tommorrow. So until this process is sorted he wont go anywhere.

I am fed up with this one.He doesn't want to be at Arsenal,Flirts with Barcelona every chance he gets,(remember him in the tunnel at the Nou Camp),and is turning into another Prima Donna!!! I also believe he is becoming increasingly injury-prone,and that he is deluded if he thinks that he is going to be first choice in that mid-field.As far as I am concerned he can fuck off,and take any others who feel the same with him.Arsenal existed before these *word censored*,and will continue without them!!!
Close the door behind you on your way out!!!

Radio Catalunya boys - dear, dear.

Its Barcelona's equivalent of Arsenal.com. I wouldn't believe a single bloody word from there

Personally I don't want Fabregas to leave as we are incapable of signing top names anymore and when he goes we are left with just RvP in the "top drawer".

Ask yourself who this board and manager will sign to replace Cesc when he goes; it's all very well wanting him gone, but what will they do ?
