Well said mate. We need to get them in early so they can integrate with their new team mates and have a full pre-season with us

As much as I hate Fergie you can't help admire how he works, Liverpool were serious about Jones and Young, he goes in for the kill and gets it sorted within hours, here it becomes an excuse like you say.

I think Cesc and Nasri might both well go, didn't with Nasri but get that feeling now, if that happens then no player with ambition will come.

This is a big Summer, we had to come flying out of the traps, it will all be very last min and we will get stuck with the dregs like Squillaci.

Typical Wenger these days. He waits until all the big clubs spend, and then he goes into the transfer market late with some loose change in his pocket and a £6m-a-year cheeky smile. Bloody idiot.

Fergie knows where his squad has been short, and I bet he had worked out the players he needs months ago. Gives them plenty of time to prepare.

Our cock of a manager pretends to recognise our failings, then makes excuses for not rectifying them (look at our defence over the past 6 years, look at the protection our midfield gives our defence, and just look at Van Persie who has consistently proved he cannot remain fit for more than 1/2 a season yet Arsene dimwit fails to bring in adequate top level cover). AKBs fall for his excuses every time.

Really sad to see an Arsenal manager that has killed his own passion & hunger for winning.

United deal pretty close according to Sky Sports. Seems Arsene was telling the truth when he said we wouldn't sell to them

Dont really care if he goes - and dont really blame him. Hes playing for a club that ranks prudence above winning. As long as he doesnt go to the mancs I dont care.

And when his & Cescs transfer money comes in, expect a fraction of it being spent on a useless player from Outer Mongolia who would be over the moon earning £50k a week.

I honestly think this club should sell all its best players, stick all the income in a high interest bank account, and at the end of the season the team full of crocked inbreds parade their `Prudence Trophy` led by Arsene and his £6m-a-year smile, infront of an empty stadium

Jack will go, the boy has fire in his belly and won't put up with this.

Nasri will be amazing at United as Fergie has that winning mentality that players feed off, it will pain me to see it but Wenger is forcing this.

You are right, this will get very ugly at the start of the season if we get off to a slow start.

I understand what you are saying but surely when you slate him for inconsistancy you can see the irony cos it would be nasri he would replace and the only thing consistant about nasri is his inconsistancy
Personally I would be very happy to see wenger sign ashley young - it isnt cos he is a Gooner but because we need a proper winger in our team instead of playing arshavin, bendtner ( ) or nasri out there. The tactics and balance of this team is woeful and for me ashley young would be a step in the right direction to remedy that
