New Arsenal (Home) Shirt

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Nike and/or the club must be coining it on this one. That badge is a print-on, same as the Fly Emirates logo. The red stripe down the sleeves is a print-on. Way cheaper to produce than the the embroidered badge from last season.

We've been mugged again.

If you have allowed the club to rip you off by buying their tat then you haven't been mugged at all.

More fool you to anyone over the age of 16 who buys it I say!

Saw the shirt "live" for the first time today - Japanese guy and his son in Morrison's in MK. Thought they looked like the sort of replica shirt you pick up on market stalls in the Costa Brava. Looked cheap as f*ck. My boys have said the same thing. First time ever that they have said no to a new kit!

Why would a gooner post 17,000 times on a man united forum?! :?

From a manc on redcafe
The crest is classy as fuck, is it gonna be a permanent feature or a once off?

Saw it yeasterday, my mate pre-ordered it, it looks cheap, like something you get from second-hand shops. Worst home shirt in a long time.

Based on reports it seems i've saved myself between £33-£55 by not buying it :barscarf: Might still go in for the polo shirt though, undecided...

Could be worse. We may have ended up with this for the double year back in 98. The lack of respect for tradition is not new.

We've been mugged for many years already. I bet it only costs five to ten pounds for Nike to produce a new shirt. Last seasons home kit looked very cheap too.

You know, I don't mind the mark up; I'm used to it with all sporting goods. But that just means the quality/design has to be that much better. Nike's not fooling anyone - we all know that their costs are bare minimum - so at least give us good product(s).
