Hobbies / Interests outside of football

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

I just clicked on that site.

The first place I went to was WWII defensive "pill boxes". There are thousands of them in various parts of the world.

War is a nasty thing. Just imagine if you were assigned to man one of those positions. And the opposing army were assaulting that position. You would be scared shitless. You would probably kill many men with the machine gun. And you would be killed yourself. Unless you were incrediblly lucky.

Thankfully, 99% of them were never put to the test.

Food, big foodie, enjoy cooking, finding good artisan stuff, good restaurants, haute cuisine, ingredients, eating in foreign countries.

Films

TV

Travel

History

Foreign Languages/Linguistics

Current affairs

Comedy

Cricket

Rugby

Golf

Tennis

Going out with mates to do most of the above

Pub games (darts snooker etc)

Drinking

Music (only a little bit)

Find the stock market/economics quite interesting but dont really dabble in it

And of course The Arsenal and football in general.

Visiting Historical Sites is something do too. Just makes the environment come alive a bit.

Watch Boxing.

Music, going to gigs.

Watching British films.

......................................................................

Writiing: Poetry, Stories, Scripts, Libretto's.
Music: Enjoy Doodling about on Gutar, Keyboard, Flute (try to write Songs/Tunes)
Music - Listening - love all sorts most always have music going on in the background.
Reading: Poetry, and mainly books relating to the Western and Eastern Mysteries Schools, Aboriginal Traditions - Shamanism, Cosmologies (Celtic, Pagan, Wicca, N.American)
Hiking, Walking Country Trails, Camping (used to be in Mountain Rescue in S.Wales)
Running/Jogging - when my dodgy back allows
Chinese Boxing: Wu-Shu Feng Sau style (don't do class any more - Just practise The Forms also still do Pole/Stick fighting and Nancha Ku work)
Football (mainly watching these days)
Dance (still do a short Ballet Barre and Modern - Cunningham and Limon techniques - as part of morning stretch)
Singing in the bath
Cunting peeps on the *word censored* thread :D
Watching Sitcoms on PC as I don't have a TV - Mainly American.

But all these are on hold as my two full-time hobbies at present are trying to find a job and a place to live. <fingers crossed>

Have you heard of 28dayslater.co.uk RT? Be warned, you will spend hours looking thorugh the pics if you visit that site, it's quality.

Playing darts, pool and snooker at various shithole clubs in Kent with mates is probably my favourite 'hobby' outside of football. High up the list is live comedy and watching Kent Cricket down at Canterbury in the summer.
