The Board did in fact make an addtional 30 million pounds of profirt re-developing Highbury. And that additional profit has done nothing for Arsenal football Club or the team - it hasn't been used to pay our best players as they should be. It hasn't been used to buy new players to replace the crap bargain players we have bought, and it hasn't been used to reduce the debt on the satdium and won't nor will the rest of 100-plus million im our cash reserves as Ivan Gazidis indicated tonight.
So whether they read the market right ow rong. The one thing we can be sure of is that the re-development of Highbury would have had the same exact negative effects if the market had not dropped as it has now, and we the one thing we cannot be sure of at all that if we made another 30 million of 50 million that it would have been invested in the football team given that the 30 million has not.
But as long as there are blindly loyal people like you they can fuck and lie straight to who will let them and even aid them they will frankly. Be as offended as you want - Gazidis said the Board is 100% behind the manager. Of course they as long supporters like you blame him to protect the Board why wouldn't they be 100% behind him?

The bulk of the club's shares are held by a small number of investors.
So share price does not change with the volatility of many publically listed companies.
It changes much more regarding demand, and how many shares are actually available especially if a shareholder puts a large chunk of shares up for sale.

If you found Peter Hill-Wood standing alone in an alley with a bloody knife over a corpse stabbed ten times and overheard him say "I should have done you ten more" you would find some way to tell yourself that since you did not actually see it as it happened that it cannot have been Mr. Hill-Wood who did the stabbing.
The fact is for you your loyalty and faith in the Arsenal Way and the Arsenal Board as its protectors is so great you uincapable of objectively assessing anything.
So while I suspect the evidence I present will have some positive impact it will rejected without being read by many of you because you don't want to know anything beyond what you want to believe and you can't even prove what you believe nor do want to try even. You just want to believe what you want to believe and ignore what you might actually know.
