Gervinho....

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I know the league is weaker but if he is productive on assists aswell as goals then he might be valuable.
Yes, he's great under pressure 5 yards out and one-on-one with the keeper......best unselfish slide rule passer there is! :banghead: :banghead:

He's powerful and pretty skilfull. He's also attracted the interest of an awful lot of clubs.

People are going on about nto signing Hazzard but how do you know we wont. Also isn't it a bit rich saying this blokes not that good for doing it in the French league, then wanting us to sign someone else from the French league??

Well you would know better than me as I have not seen enough of him to make myself look stupid by expressing delight or depression by his impending signing.

Why are the media reporting that the Chamberlin deal won't be completed until July 1st?

I'm finding it a little difficult to get excited about this Gervinho chap at the moment.

Mainly because, whether he's a good signing or not MIGHT hinge on the future of Nasri and Cesc. IF both stay, then Gervinho is just another option in attack and that's great... but IF Nasri and Cesc go, then we're going to need READY MADE world class replacements, or we'll have downgraded, surely? :?
