Vancouver Riots

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Vancouver Riots

Post by Barriecuda »

Vancouver's team has never won a title in their 40 years (!) as a team and was aiming to be the first Canadian team to win the Cup since 1993. Tonight's final game was the 7th in a best-of-7 and was lost at their arena in Vancouver.

This is what followed (hit the links):

weeeeeyyyyyy nothing like a good riot to ease the tension. I look forward to seeing it on the next season of "when sports goes bad" or some similar titled programme on sky1.

This is where "wenger out" movement is gonna esculate too soon enough

Don't want to make light of a serious situation but if you look at link 3, a guy (far right of picture) seems to be rushing to aid his mate who is involved in a fight:

http://www.canada.com/news/national/495 ... ze=620x400

Then in the next link the same fella is on the floor with blood gushing from his wounds having failed in his task and instead apparently sustained a beating..

Friend of mine posted that one.

Black smoke from all the cars on fire.

Another local and friend of mine said "they looted every single store along one of the major streets - Sears, the Bay, Future Shop (electronics giant), Coach, MAC, TD Bank, Bank of Montreal, H&M, bars, night clubs, sports stores, art galleries, and even Chapters (book store)"
