Arsenal fan retires from Socialist dictatorship

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Arsenal fan retires from Socialist dictatorship

Post by Cus Geezer »

Apparently Fidel was a gooner.

After a few decades of economic sanctions and US backed terrorism from ex-pats based in Miami, he still had a better National Health Service and life expectancy than the USA with a lower infant mortality rate to boot.

Ooh to be a Cuban Gooner!

Where does it say he was a Gooner? I would like to know, be amazing to find that out. Maybe he liked that we wear red coloured shirts?

Good Boxers from Cuba too. Stevenson and Savon are legends.

Castro backed a few dodgy terrorist groups though. Supposedly.

Unlike the Bin Laden rumour, which according to Jason Burke's book was just that, 'tis actually true that Castro was an Arsenal fan.

Must have been the colour of our shirts that done it

He's not the only one though - a few quid given to Al Qaeda in 1996 to bump off Gaddaffi by our own government and the US.

The US also funded terrorism in Cuba.

Yes it is true, maybe he was swayed by Arsenal F.C's history of property fraud, Gangsterism and Board-Level corruption.

The Royal Family are Gooners as well...

Just shows you from that Arseweb site what a broad political church of Arsenal fans there is.

Communists
Islamic Fundamentalists
Old Labour
New Labour
Wet Tories
Thatcherites
The Royal Family

Ever wondered if we've got the answer for world peace?
