The *word censored* scored only 4 goals last season. I'd rather keep Bender.

I wish people would stop going on about that. Regardless of if you're in favour or not, theres so many reasons he didn't score that many goals last year its useless to bring it up

If we sign Gervinho then defoe is out of the question , but if arsene is feeling adventurous , which is unlikely, and signs them both surely vela would be sold and a probable loan out for bendtner

Such as?

With the quality he has behind him in vdV, Modric, Lennon, Bale etc he really ought to have done better.

top player he is, he'd be lethal playing next to RVP and with hopefully Cesc and Nasri behind him he'd score shitloads. I'd sign him rather than gervinho

gervinho is a winger though, so he isnt going to compete with any striker.

Having said that defoe isn't exactly the striker I had in mind. He isn't even good enough for spurs. Hoping its a sick joke.

Just how broke are we for this to be true?

Going by previous transfer windows from past couple of season's, wenger would not buy 2 strikers in one! End of story. but we are pretty desperate so i see your point though.

Gervinho is a striker come winger. He's a forward player.

Thank you!
As I've been trying to say, yes the lad could play up front (manly due to pace & skill) but he's a wide attacking midfielder. Perfect for our 433.
