Chamakh signed, played a lot early, impressed enough to suggest he would be good enough 3rd choice striker and then seemed to get shafted by wenger after rumours of some sexual story began to circulate. Things got so bad that he was behind bendtner in the pecking order and was only getting a few mins here and there and it is hard to get your form back that way
RVP being first, who was 2nd?
Agree with the rest.

Didnt explain myself properly......what I meant was that chamakh is good enough to be 3rd choice striker only so we need another top quality striker to be our number 2 or number 1 striker

Yeah, we need someone good enough to be our first choice striker because he will get plenty of chances with van Persie being fragile and we can't keep having back up players who ain't good enough for the first team playing so many games, that's where we've been going wrong.

Granted you can't have 22 first choices but van Persie is not physicaly reliable so we can't be shocked when he only plays 20 games.

We missed a trick with Suarez.

Go on, name names and then we can pick them apart in real world terms at why he will never sign them.

Shall I start? Ronaldo...

No way would City sell him to us, he's one of the brightest prospects in England, they wouldn't even sell us their reserve keeper.

Andy Johnson is more realistic

I'm not unhappy with this signing at all, we are crying out for a decent wide player with both pace and ability on the ball, and the reports from France are very encouraging.
