Computer Help / Advice again please!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I can always call my comrades at HIMEOBS to try and fix your problem, if you REALLY, REALLY want.

(NOT ADVISED)

You mean www.onlinegooner.com, right. Trying deleting cookies and temporary files on your Internet Explorer. By the way, I use Firefox instead of the Internet Explorer, I think it is better. And a personal advice from me to everyone:

DO NOT DOWNLOAD PORN

IT IS UNHEALTHY

FOR YOU

AND

YOUR COMPUTER

Unless you are a sex addict, you are desperate to rub your bone and your computer is heavily protected by anti-virus programs

Once you go Mac you never go back.

Not to say we never have problems but we avoid a lot of the Spyware that PCs get.

YES, THAT IS DEFINATELY DOWN TO A DODGY PORN WEBSITE ADDRESS POSTED ON HERE AS I'VE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS.

COINCIDENTLY, I SPOKE TO MY NEPHEW ABOUT IT THIS AFTERNOON AND ALTHOUGH I CAN'T GUARANTEE IT WILL WORK ON YOUR COMPUTER, HE SUGGESTED THAT WHEN IT POPS UP, EITHER TRY AND DELETE THE NAX.EXE WINDOW BY CLICKING THE RIGHT HAND BUTTON AND THEN DELETE

OR

WHEN THE AVG WINDOW POPS UP AND YOU ARE GIVEN THE OPTION TO IGNORE, HEAL OR SEND TO VIRUS VAULT, YOU DO THE LAST OF THE THREE.

I TRIED THE SECOND SUGGESTION THIS EVENING BUT WON'T KNOW UNTIL TOMORROW WHETHER IT WORKED. 8)

YEAH, BUT I DON'T LIKE TO SHOW OFF!!

HOWEVER, IT MUST HAVE COME FROM SOMETHING POSTED ON HERE A FEW WEEKS AGO (AND NO, IT WASN'T XHAMSTER.COM, MY NEW FAVOURITE PORN SITE)

PERHAPS IT WAS THE ONE SUGGESTED BY REBEL, WHO MAY BE OPENING UP A NEW FRONT IN THE WAR AGAINST THE BRITISH!!

Also try downloading - http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/ ... its virus free and ACE. Its also the best on the market (free edition included).

Install. Run. send any nasty viruses to the virus vault, and VOILA, clean PC.

I'm sure we've had this chat before.

HANDY TIP if one of your 'ARTISTIC' websites you obviously view, says that you need to download ACTIVE X updates to view said 'ART', close the window immediately.
That means a remote computer has attached itself to your IP address, and is sending your Browsing history to MI6, and HIMEOBS.

You can always run upstairs, open the bathroom window, and shake your PC for about 23 minutes (5 mins for laptops), out the open window.

Success rate for this method though is only 4% successful.

GOOD LUCK.
