NASRI STAYING ??

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Henry promoted the club Clock sponsors "Ebel" at the stadium in a promotional event/photocall with (I think Elle McPherson?); the very next day he announced he was leaving.
If you mean Crocit's signature, think that is Gisele Bundchen?
Yeah, that's the one.

As far as I am concerned he has already shown his true colours, and the sooner he fucks off the better!!! He is just the latest in a long line of *word censored* players with no loyalty to anything except to their bank account!!!

Get a grip! If you demand that all our players show unstinting loyalty, love of the badge etc we'll end up with just Eboue and ten eager volunteers from the forum.....

If he stays then he is loyal.....

I support ARSENAL FOOTBALL CLUB,not the procession of wannabes who use the club to raise their profile,so that they can make big money moves.I long ago stopped being naive enough to expect loyalty from any of them,(especially the badge kissers),and so far,(with a very few exceptions),I have not been disappointed!!!

And it'll all be Arsene Wenger's fault so they won't have to take any blame

Probably just a marketing tactic by his agent, really. "Let's say you'll go to your most hated rival, that'll make the fans demand you stay. And if they don't like it, they're fickle, so you can win them back when you sign".

If he stays, fair enough, he's usefull in a team. But I wont sing his name. Nasri hasn't impressed me consistently over a whole season, so imo he certainly doesn't deserve to be on the same amount as Cesc.

If he believes he's that good he can just f*ck off to where he wants, I couldn't care less.

Likewise I am not singing his name and if he proceeds to do an Adebayor, ie sign a big contract then proceed to waltz around doing sweet nothing then I will be on his back. He will have to prove a lot next season if he does stay to get the fans back on his side

Nasri feels Arsenal are agonisingly close to finally ending their quest for silverware following a sixth barren campaign - and indeed can rival Barclays Premier League champions United for quality.

He added: "At some point, we so want to win, our desire is so big that we rush things and make mistakes. But it is not because we are scared, but because we want to win so badly and we don't think enough.

"As a team, we all realise now what we need to do to win a trophy.

"We had everything to be champions, but if you look at it, every time we played to go top of the league, we never did.

"In terms of talent, I feel we had the best squad of the whole league. We played the best football.

"We were the best team, even if Manchester United had a good season too."

Nasri added: "We have improved so much.

"If the boss adds some good players, I really believes a trophy will be won."

I'm not sure I'd be singing it whether he signs or not, probably still would as it's a class song to jump around too when you've had a few but he had been approaching legend status in January, can't say I actually consider him a 'likable' player now.
