Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Augie, seriously? I think most people just want to see what he does first before the calls to get him out begin again.

If he fails again then he really would have no arguments or excuses left.....

This is the last chance saloon and the door is swinging back and forth the piano player has stopped playing everyone has stopped their conversations and pker games.....

he either buys in the players we need and gets shot of the shyte and if he even only does these thiings half measure both he and WE TRULY ARE FUCKED!

I do understand what you are saying rigsby but for me he has blown his last chance and should have gone by now. I would also disagree with your assesment and suggest that most people want him gone but are sadly resigned to the belief that he will not be pushed out :(

Tbh I really have no faith in his ability to rebuilt this team and our club - the players we are being linked with (samba, gervinho, and cahill) are not, in my opinion at least, of the quality required to make this team great again especially when you consider the possibility/probability of high quality players like cesc and/or nasri going

Augie I reckon Samba and Cahill are good enough and while to me at least Gervinho Is an unknown quantity the initial signs are very encouraging.

However he needs to get his arse in gear and conclude some deals!!

What makes you think these will even happen now? I doubt they will to be honest. Maybe Gervy and wenger will only play him out of possition anyway.
Al the hope of playing wide men have gone, the hope of samba and cahill have gone in my eyes.

It will be Gervy
Upson
Scwarzer

if he wanted any of these good players he would have them by now.

next season i wont go if we dont sign players, will rent my season ticket out

I'll remind you of this at Delight before the Liverpool game.

I'm quite confident this transfer window will be a good 'un.

Its not what he wants, its what most people want. We are getting taken for mugs, year in year out now.

Well hang on Swale why should Mikey plow his money into a black hole? If Arsenal were making good use of his couple of grand then fine but if he feels like he's pissing it up against the wall, as many do, then he shouldn't have to 'prove' his support by continuing to waste his money.

This signing has now progressed from 'obvious' to 'right in front of you, blindingly bright and shiny like Augie's head'.

That's a really wanky thing to say quite honestly. Why should any fan throw money willy nilly at a club managed by a man who fails continually and is negligent when it comes to addressing glaringly obvious problems in the squad? There are a lot of things wrong at Arsenal and if it were left to people like you, nothing would ever change because you'll quite happily pull your pants down and let the club abuse you any way they wish.
If you are a real fan, then you want the best for your club and for the last few years we have certainly not seen the best at Arsenal.

Look gobshite!!!!!! I know for certain that most games your at home wanking at the keyboard so you have no valid point. Do you even have a fucking season ticket and spend countless amounts of cash every fucking year. Hearing the same fucking shite from our manager and board about how much money we are going to spend just to entice us mugs into paying for our season ticket again.

Sorry but I wont be taken for a mug any longer, its bad enough I have made myself broke by paying for it again after hearing talks of world class players like Benzeema by our beloved boss.

When ever I get home after a loss at arsenal I always see your sad self on the match day thread so how can you tell me anything about support.

What is there to support now?

I hate the manager
I hate the ground
I hate fans like you
I hate the cost
I hate most the squad
I hate the style of play
I hate the failure
I hate the board
Hate the abuse we get from fans from wba, Newcastle, stoke, and spuds

I like the mates around me
The pub
Jack, Ramsey, RVP, TV , and Chesney
Nasris song
Away days
And….. oh that’s it

Well worth the effort and cost

I want investment made into the team, for wenger to sort out the mistakes my nan could sort out and she has been dead for 5 years.

Sick of it , and sick of gobshites like you who think because you buy a shirt and love everything whilst sitting at home it makes you a REAL FAN.

I Like you Mikey, maybe as we have similar views we could buy a certain pub up the road from the Marble Halls and sell loads of beer to the wave of unhappy fans next season who thought we were going to be very active in the transfer market.

Maybe Flash could be our Doorman / Manager

Happy days :barscarf:

I'm afraid a doorman who won't get out of his armchair is no use in deterring the likes of me ;)
