Where's Wally

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

I won't even try to defend **** for making comments about Flash's dad. It's clearly wrong.

I count ****'y as a personal friend. And I know that he is a very caring and kind person. The various things he has said on here are totally out of character. I have no idea what prompted his behaviour. I haven't been in contact with him for a while.

I'd just like all those who are cunting him to bear in mind that we all do and say the wrong things from time to time. We all make bad judgements. We all get things wrong. Regardless of what you may think, mrgnu is a good bloke.

not a blinkered opinion from a personal friend then...
I'd say Olgit has given a balanced view there.

He hasn't defended **** for his comments, and hasn't tried to justify them.

He's given his opinion on what his friend is like under normal circumstances and reminded everyone that we all make bonehead comments and decisions in our life.

Pretty fair I'd say.

He hasn't even asked for him to be let back on. :?
Thank you Number 5. 8) We can all be *word censored* ocassionaly. It's human nature.

that's good then, clearly the bloke is a jekyll and hyde character and it's a shame he can't be this wonderful person he is portrayed in the real world - how can one minute you are kind and caring and the next your taking the piss out of some blokes dead father

to be honest i don't give a shit if he comes back here or not, he just another fucker to ignore, but the way he has treated IHH and Flash is despicable
Oh I agree, wouldn't have that part any other way.

I may be way, way off base here but I personally would put it down to the drink. That shit is evil and can turn even the most well mannered person into the devils spawn.

Shit, it has happened to me on a good few occasions.

But what Olgit has put forward is not a blinkered view, just his honest assessment on someone it sounds like he has a more personal relationship with.

I don't think it's too much to say the man needs some help and also to seriously consider how he talks to other human beings but you know if a man can sort that shit out, face up to what he's done and be truley apologetic about it, you want him to do that.

But for real, not just to blow it all up again 2, 3 months down the line.

I understand Olgits comments and I too was very fond of Gnue"y. But he was given every opportunity to stop what he was doing and he ignored those opportunities and indeed upped the level of abuse and cuntiness.

Eventually Gooner Ed had to ban him.

I also do not accept the "he was drunk" excuse. Sorry but no. We have all been shitfaced and made idiots of ourselves but if drinking turns you into a horrible person that offends and alienates people then you should stop drinking. Also, I have no proof he was drunk tbh. :?

It's a shame he's gone but he was given every opportunity to avoid getting banned.

If only it were that simple bud.

I witnessed first hand my parents marriage destroyed by drink. They were at it every single night of the week and couldn't stop fighting. I could see as a 14 year old that it was the booze but they never could pack it in even for a weekend.

Even now 15 years later they are still downing beers almost every night.

Anyway, I don't think Olgit or anyone else is offering up an excuse for what went on. There is none. **** has been punished, rightly so, and deserves all the fallout from his actions. That bit isn't debatable.

If he is just a horrible *word censored* and refuses to change then he'll die a sad lonely old man. But I think everyone has the capacity to change, find the route of what is causing the trouble (booze or not) and work it out.

In my eyes, he will always be a *word censored* for what he did to Master Flash. No excuse whatsoever.

Never actually read this thread but I laughed at the way it's interspersed with posts here & there from people who are actually still primarily concerned with the Where's Wally record attempt

"**** was bang out of order for what he said"
"Yes, OK. Now tell me, just how many Wallys were there again? Incredible."

Well there is no excuse.

He has to accept what he has done is wrong.

Be man enough to apologise to IHH and Flash. Be man enough to have the apologies thrown back at him if they choose and if that does happen be man enough to accept their feelings.

does anyone actually remember what kicked it off, in the early hours of the morning. I think Mrgnu felt there was a Vendetta against him from certain board members - and then he finally snapped, just like a grizzly bear being poked with a stick

He is. He was very upset about the stuff written about his dad. I understand fully and hope he comes back sooner rather than later.

was going to ask about him in a short while. yep, i can understand he may want to take a break from this place, just hope he doesn't give up on the OG. flash seems like a top top bloke, would be a massive shame if he left for good.
