I recently bought one of these phones and now whenever my mates or anyone rings it comes up as an unknown number does anyone know how to fix this?

Have you tried turning it off and then on again

I know certain Nokia phones had a similar problem if you didn't copy your contacts from the SIM card into the phones memory. Maybe you could try that.
