Online Gooner vs Sunderland Lads

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm sure Chunky can sort it, but if he's too busy I don't mind organising it.

It's my birthday as well as it happens.

Well it looks like you've already got enough for a team. I'll canvass our lot and see whether we'll have enough to get 11 out. I'd hope so. That pitch near Leyton Orient was excellent but was a bit far from the ground to leave us ample drinking time. Any other suggestions?

Yes.....if DB is gonna make it we should organize a St Johns Ambulance, wheelchair, stretcher, crutches, defibulator etc....just in case

I would be up for playing.

I understand if I don't make the cut as I wouldn't want to stifle the development of the OG forum youth team.....

I'll play in this if a few more numbers are still needed. Could someone (honestly  ) tell me what the quality of football was really like last time out. I wouldn't want to let the side down too much if i played

Well.......I was quality.......thats about it

No it was ok, some decent players in there, although if you were one of those kids that was always picked last in the playground then maybe not

It was a good laugh, we just lost our shape after a decent first half and i was part of a 5 man attacking midfield in the 2nd half which left the poor old defence a little exposed

Remind you of another team :-P

We will be dope testing before and after the match so if anyone wants to suggest which questions we should ask DB10, then feel free to do so

Nice to see you all think so highly of me!

Sorry lads but Im like Peter Hill Wood, I aint going anywhere! I will try and sort the day off in work tomorrow but and hopefully we can get the ball rolling. Im sure a few of the Irish lads will want to help us forget our performance of 2 years ago! DB10 you can mark the 6ft 8 striker they had. Do you remember him?!
Wheres my centre half partner number 5? Are you there buddy?

On a serious note. Anyone booking flights just be careful Sky/Espn dont decide to change kick off times and dates

Looks like kingjayson will have to quietly return to Enfield Town next season despite making clear his desire to move to Online Gooner FC. Remind you of anyone?

Chunky I'll play if you need someone, I'm
competent but nothing incredible.

Surely we could do Highbury Fields, leaving plenty of time for a piss up afterwards.

A really good venue is on Market Road. They are 3rd generation 11-a-side pitches.

http://www.aquaterra.org/market-road-football-pitches

FrankB would be available as an attacking Left back if required. 8)

(Pat can do the sarnies.)
