On that note I think I'll withdrawDB10GOONER wrote: One thing though, anyone that wants to play - we got sucker punched last time round. ). But in fairness we did ok in the first half and went in 0-0 at half time. But lack of fitness fucked us up in the 2nd half I think. We also need a few better quality players to bolster the Gooner team. Where have I heard that before?

Stand on the sidelines and shout abuse at the lot of you.

I'll stay out of this for the most part but I'll have to take you to task on that! Half of us live down here and half in Sunderland.DB10GOONER wrote:

We'll take it as a compliment...
That Market Road pitch look canny but it looks like you can only book 28 days in advance and if people are booking trains, flights etc. I imagine we need more of a guarantee we've got a pitch?

If I remember correctly getting a deffo pitch was the real problem last time and Chunky did sterling work to get one sorted.

I can get more of those "Gooner FC Highbury" polos if needed too. Same as last time I'll pay up front and collect on the day at face value. But again we need deffo numbers before I order.
Have to get one for Spuddy too, even though he didn't play last time he picked myself, baldyaugie and my bro up from the airport, ran the line for the game and then dropped us back to the airport that night. Least he deserves is a nice polo shirt!
