RIP very sad news. Great sax player and even greater personality and stage presence. Had the pleasure of seeing him play at the Grove as well, which will always stay in the memory.

I am a big Springsteen & E Street Band fan.
I´ve seen them about 15 times all over Europe.
Clarence stage presence was unbelievable, great sax player!

R.I.P. Big Man

After the death of Danny Federici in April 2008 this is the second original E Street Band member who died...

I'm a big fan and was lucky to see them 6 times but was gutted to hear Clarence had passed away, as I read he was recovering well.

End of era, and of the E-Street band? Can't see Bruce taking the stage without Clarence when performing as the band. Still think seeing Bruce with the band at the Arsenal was just AWESOME!!!

Very Sad news indeed. Thoughts go to family and friends RIP Clarence.

A truly gifted musician. Such a sad loss. Saw The Boss and the E Street band once (not really my type of music) and they were brilliant live and some of the songs were classics.

RIP. :(
