Is 0-0 enough?
So: good game in many respects. An improvement on Sat, but that would not be hard! Fought well, several really good performances. Ade should have done better at the end.
The big Q though is it enough?
I just feel despite the clean sheet, which could prove vital, that 0-0 is not enough. I really really hope I am wrong but I feel that we needed to take a goal advantage to the San Siro.
I can't wait for the game but is going to be a real tough one! What do people think?

hmm
i cant belive ade failed to score in the 93rd min...
milan are huge fav now. but i think we will get a couple chances, its now all about taking at least one. The away goal could be crucial and our defence is solid.

I think 0-0 is alright. When we travel to San Siro, we'll need to keep our passing style and be patient. AC Milan will know that scoring one goal will not be enough, because if we score one, they'll need two otherwise they'll be out. I think we are still in control. Arsene Wenger has done well in Europe during the last few seasons in big matches so hopefully, we'll have another special European night.
Milan will definetly be favourites, but i think we will do it. The last time we needed a win at the san siro we beat inter 5-1. milan are a different kettle of fish, but we can win it. they will need to attack, and we can catch em on the counter attack. I must say eboue did well tonight, and i hope all you eboue haters will at least give him the benefit of the doubt for his performance tonight. big phil also had a good game, along with hleb and fabregas who ran the midfield. how ade didnt score at the end is beyond me, but if we play in the san siro like we did tonight, role the quarter finals.
Lets look at it this way
If I said to you the Champions of Europe went to the San Siro and beat AC Milan would you be surprised? No. Because the Champions of Europe would be so because they would have proven (indulge me in a little WWE Ric Flair) to be the man you gotta beat the man. And that what we as The Arsenal aspire to be isn't it, Champions of Europe. So to have serious thoughts that we can win the trophy it is logical to summise that we can go to Milan and win. Becasue otherwise if we think we can't we might as well lose because the next opponents ain't gonna be any easier.
Personally I was encouraged by what I saw tonight, but do feel that Milan were holding back and we will see the best of them in 2 weeks. This however could suit us more because as long as we defend well we can counter the bollox out of them.
Good points for me?
Senderos, Clichy (Again), Flamini (Great performance, I'm swaying to the belief he could be the real deal)

His dive was embarrassing and I still don't give a benefit of doubt until he stops these stupid antics. He's a good player but he needs to stop diving, then the fans might start to like to him.demzy wrote:Milan will definetly be favourites, but i think we will do it. I agree H4x I think we will regret not scoring tonight, but on the otherside i suppose it could however stop us from going into the next game very complacent
Im positive that we will create good chances though in Milan just got to make those count though. I thought it was a solid performance tonight from us especially from Phil Senderos - thought he played really well and continued his good form over the last few weeks.

Eboue has had countless starting appearences for us, either at RB or RM, from the start of the match and still not proven to be anything other than a squad player at best.jacko-arsnl wrote:Everyone talks about Eboue being not up to th Arsenal standard.
But why does know one speak about Bendter. this guy is shite, he is awrful, he has no potential, we need to get rid of him.
However Bentder has rarely been given a start, just been thrown on with 15-20 mins to go and we've hit long balls up to him, what do you expect of him? A hat-trick and MOTM for 15 mins?
Adebayor had a similar start to his career and it's really only been this year when he's been first choice week in week out we've seen the best of him.
If Bentdner got those kind of starts that Eboue gets and was still not performing I'd be inclined to agree.

Well, Eboue embarrasses us with his diving so that is why he get criticism. Bendtner is only in his first full season for Arsenal, he hasn't been that good for us so far but he is only 20.jacko-arsnl wrote:Everyone talks about Eboue being not up to th Arsenal standard.
