If you haven't seen .com yet they've launched and yes it is true. At 1.05am on 28 June 2011 Arsenal FC died for me just a little bit more. It's just not Arsenal as I knew it.brazilianGOONER wrote:no, it's not gnuey naked, it's this:

It is shite. But to add to the shite we will probably wear it when we don't have to. There are only 5 PL away games where a change from our red and white is a must:
-Manyoo
- Liverpool
- Sunderland
- Stoke
- Villa
But I bet we see it at WBA, Norwich, Swansea, Wigan, Everton despite all these teams playing in their home strip at the Grove.

As a T Shirt if it was worn with jeans and was not an Arsenal top, just a plain T shirt, then it is fine.
But as an Arsenal kit is is awful, and more to the point is overbearing with the shorts.
I cannot see how the colours have anything to do with our tradition.
Would it be too much to ask for the marketing department to "leak" a few versions of next season's proposed kits near the end of the previous season and gauge reaction?

"The shirt may look like a Monaco copy, but according to Arsenal the diagonal line represents the gnomon (the pointer) which casts the shadow on a sundial - to commemorate the original Dial Square sundial on the site of the Arsenal munitions factory in Woolwich, where the Club was founded in 1886."

Just in from Arsenal.con;
"Next years away shirt will be puke-yellow. To represent the drunken vomit that Merse allegedly took in the showers at our old home Highbury during the historic 1991 title season."

I know there are plenty of Arsenal related protests gong on at the moment but I really hope this fucking eyesore is boycotted.
To add insult to injury the trot out another piece of PR bullshit that somehow links the club with sky and dark blue diagonals. What a load of old shit. The Herbert Chapman inspired redcurrant and white kits were bad enough but at least they had a bit of truth to them.
It is bad enough that kits are changed every season to fleece those daft enough to buy them of their money but when they force this shite on us enough is enough.
Even if you do refuse to buy the shirts you are forced to watch your beloved Arsenal in a Hackett polo top!
