The photoshoot took place before the end of last season before he went on holiday. Anyway it doesnt matter Vieira was in all the photoshoots for the redcurrent home shirt and he left before he could actually play in that shirt, whether Cesc goes or stays it has nothing to do with the new shirt photospiresistible wrote:Some rubbish in the Mirror today stating that because Cesc isn’t in the clubs promotional photos for the new away kit, he’s off to Barcelona ASAP.RNTGOONER wrote:Gunners captain on holiday in Spain and happy to stay there
tagline from the gaurdian....................... they have had the same picture of him as the top story which they change slightly everyday - no quotes or evidence to back it up, i expect that crap from the red tops, sometimes i think the uk media hates us,

*Sigh*
If they paid attention to his Twitter account, or any other actual sources they’d be fully aware that Cesc has been overseas on holiday. Making it impossible for him to be in London for a photoshoot.
More media bullshit.
Cesc must quit for Barca

He may not get as much playing time at first but in the end he will become one of the first names on the team sheet.
And lets face it the only reason he wants to go is that he has obviously be promised the world by Wenger when it comes to bringing in top talent and winning trophies and at the end of the day he got neither.
If our manager had done what we all know he should've then we would be trophy winners by now and he probably wouldn't want to go.
He must be fed up with carrying this team and looking around and seeing the drivel playing alongside him.
Watch some of the games and see the frustration on his face. I think i'd feel eaxctly the same.
You pretty much sum the situation up perfectly.
Put yourself in Cesc's position and it is clear why he wants out.

And if I was moaninho or the real madrid president that is exactly what I would be doing - we have been led to believe that they would like to sign him but realise that the chances of him going there are slim so the best that they could hope for right now is to drive the selling price up and piss barca off while doing so

A great way to annoy your biggest rivals. Good work by Real, but can't see it being much more than an attempt to get at Barca, rather than any belief that Cesc would go there.Gunnersaurus wrote:A paper in Spain is reporting that Madrid have bid 50m euros for Cesc, not sure how true this is but it would certainly piss Barcelona off, he will never go there but we would never have to accept the lower bid.
Could you imagine the faces on the *word censored* at Barca if he went there?Gunnersaurus wrote:A paper in Spain is reporting that Madrid have bid 50m euros for Cesc, not sure how true this is but it would certainly piss Barcelona off, he will never go there but we would never have to accept the lower bid.

so true, although i'd add arshavin to that list.donaldo wrote:Amazing that the first player to leave will be our best player. And Almunia Flappy Eboue Denilson Diaby Rosicky and Bender are still Arsenal players. You couldnt make it up.Wenger OUT

its all *ucked up.
C'mon madrid do what you're good at.
Mundo Deportivo have said that Fabregas is looking for a house in Barca, and that a fee has been agreed for 35m Euros, plus bonuses.
He's visiting the Barca campus today allegedly, and has decided that he won't speak there today.
