Transfer Rumours Thread
I know this ship has sailed but I cannot help but think that signing shay given for 5m would be a good move for the club. Chesney needs an older experienced keeper to guide him and Given's short time shelf life would suit everybody imo.
In other news kun ageuro's release fee has been reduced to 35m now from the original 42m fee. Of course the chavs and citeeh are amongst the "elite" teams being linked with the little genius
Would any Gooner favour the idea of spending the full cesc fee on a player like ageuro ? Mixed views myself
Finally on some good news the great Dennis Bergkamp has been promoted to Asst Manager of Ajax alongside frank de boer.

Think his knees are meant to have gone tbh, by the end of his spell with us he was forced out of the side by David Meyler and a move away seemed the best move for everyone concerned. Certainly committed enough like, but as i say there is a major injury worry over him, and he does tend to veer a bit too much on the reckless side with his challenges. He's about the right age and style for your lot like, so if the club doctor has a good look at him and says he's fine and the manager is happy then i suppose you could do worse, shouldnt cost that much i wouldnt imagine. Last I heard he was very near to a deal with Lazio though- if he comes the the prem i think it will be a more middle of the road side that will take a chance on himaugie wrote:I see that lorik cana (albanian) is being linked with a move back to england. The former mackem was a player that was heavily linked with us before his brief stint at the stadium of light 2 seasons ago where he impressed so much he was made skipper of the team
Any thoughts our mackem buddy ?

Can't believe that we're only a day away from making signings....real ones, not just paper talk. I'm in London tomorrow so may pop along to the ground and join the thousands celebrating the arrival of the African guy from France who sounds a bit Brazilian....... May even get a chance to say bye bye to Cesc and Nasri at the same time......

I think we will sell more than we bring in
Cesc will go
Nasri will go
Clichy will go
And average players like gervyhed will come in and Wenger will expect us to be happy about it
Players like Gervyhed and Ricky Martinez should be additions not stars
