Dennis Bergkamp has been appointed assistant manager at Ajax.
The Arsenal legend was named as the Dutch giants’ youth team manager in January and has now been promoted the first team under Frank de Boer.
Bergkamp came through the ranks as a player at Ajax before heading to Inter Milan and then to Arsenal in 1995, where he spent 11 highly-successful years.
The 42-year-old rejoined his former club in 2008 and worked in a trainee role while he studied for his UEFA coaching badges.
Great players don't always make great managers but I would love it if The Dennis came back to us and was a huge success and won the CL, a trophy that he should have won as a player.
To think human excrement like Sherringham, Rooney, Evra, The Neville Sisters and Piglips have won that trophy and a true legend like Dennis hasn't... it just makes me want to hurt people.

Brilliant!!! Two or three years learning the managerial side of the game before he returns to his spiritual home to bring back the glory days and total football!!! I can dream can't I!!!
Good Luck Dennis!!!
