Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

A better question would be "Does Wenger WANT to buy a world class player". :banghead:

Someone just suggesting selling Nasri to make way for fucking Gary Cahill?

I must have been mistaken, I thought Nasri is the one that has proven himself at highest level.

What has the failed Villa trainee ever done? Hes a run of the mill CB, no better or worse than half the rest of them.

Yes, I was merely suggesting that city were going after cahill simply because they knew we wanted him. Knowing they can pay him twice as much as we can so, by selling nasri, who was almost certainly heading for old trafford, to city, a gentlemans argreement would be made over city backing away from cahill, leaving him to join us. After all city have the cash to do want they want and are appeasing their fans by stealing a player destined from their great rivals. Something we used to do, and its something we should seriously consider doing again.

I really dislike my club and the *word censored* that run it. Maybe when RVP and Jack want out next year after another year of nothing will people finally get it.

Few lads on the herd forum claiming Joey Barton deal could be done.

Really hope so!

Our club has become a toilet - even toilets have a better purpose - we are accumulating shit while flushing away all that is good.

We are seemingly letting go of plaers like Cesc & Nasri - who attract the likes of ManU & Barca, and we go out to buy players like Gervinho who (I think) was being pursued by the likes of Malaga & Newcastle??? What a stinking pile of shit.

Just look at the state of the club - early in Wengers reign every season there was at least one player worthy of having his name on your shirt - look at the squad now. Absolute crap

The best thing that could happen to Arsenal is if we fall way down the league table - the only way to get rid of that idiot Wenger is if the stadium is half empty for each game :(

The Nasri situation is just depressing.

its unlikely that any of you will have seen too much of this lad, but i thought i'd post here rather than taking up space on the forum with a new thread- we've just added a young lad to our reserve squad by the name of Roarie Deacon, was at arsenal last season (plays on the wing apparently). Did anyone see any of him and does he seem a decent player? (Taking more and more interest in the development of the youths nowadays what with all the first teamers becoming arseholes once theyve made it!)
