Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Hummels amd Subotic from Dortmund?

Both young, both well over 6 ft, and we were allegedly watching both of them for a year or two.

Of course they would cost a bit, but that pairing would be awesome.

And I know, it's never going to happen.

Yes like the way we were following the progress of Kompany and look how that turned out.

So, if the Cahill rumour is true, Wenger will have his excuse ready about him trying to sign etc but got John o'Shea instead.

If true then this would just prove that Wenger has too much power at the club. He should just be handing over a shopping list to a Dein type character and then taking a much needed break while the wheeler dealering is done. No wonder the poor bastard always looks so knackered!

Then we hear various rumours that denilshyte, bendy bollocks, eboue the clown and maybe even almunia are on their way OUT!...so okay there's me thinking this is just the start ..Wenger has at long fuckin' last cottoned on to what we all knew 4 seasons ago......

Then there's all kinds of rumours about Samba, Mata, Gervinho, Oxlaide(sp?) Cahill, Barton etc etc coming in....

And while Wenger is twiddling his thumbs on French Radio & TV...fergie buys 2 players they 'need'...doing his business sharp & early...even the binippers are already doing business...

The chavscum get in a quality manager...who will surely spend the ole moolah on whom he needs...and now we could well become a feeder club for man shitty

and yet lo and behold - It's the 1st of July and who have we signed????????

And just to compound his seeming inability to 'act & buy quickly'...IF...IF we do sell those players....which should raise £55 - £60 million....he hasn't even broken into the £60mill that silent stan said he can spend...so with the possibilty of having a War Chest of £120 Million.....and the opportunity to get shot of the dross AND lessen the wage bill.....

We are still Up Wenger's Shitcreek without a feckin' paddle

I have not - nor will I ever forget - the wonderful times Wenger has brought to our club...But he seems to be hellbent on not only undoing all his hard work and destroying all his Great & Good Work, but he is without doubt turning the fans against him.....I truly NEVER EVER thought I would want him Out!...

But Please Wenger either flash the Cash BIG TIME or

please

PLEASE

PLEASE

FUCK-OFF!

I was a Gooner Loooooong before he came and will beloooong after he's gone...it just makes me sad and angry that he doesn't seem to be able to comprehend what all (non-AKB's & JCL's) Gooners know and have been saying for (at leasy) 4 seasons....the thing is it has (after the last 2 seasons especially) now got to the point where even if he does bring in 4 - 5 top TOP Quality players in the required positions...it just feels like already it is all too late.....and there was no need for it to get so FUCKIN' AWFUL...It just makes me feel so SAD!

Good shout Babu - Hummels is a much better choice than Cahill. But Dortmund are champions and looking like they have a real chance of building long term success and dominating Bayern. why would he come to us? :?

French website footmercato recons the deal for gervinho is very close.

http://www.footmercato.net/info-fm-losc ... enal_69179

Translation:

"The transfer of gervinho (24 yo) to Arsenal doesn't make any doubt. But the gunners still need to find an agreement with Lille over the transfer fee.

According to our sources, the Gunners have offered 8M Euros with 2M E. Bonus. Lille would accept the transfer for 10M E. and 2M E. bonuses. The conclusion of the saga is near."

  Are we THAT tight??!! :banghead: :banghead:

Methinks a €2m gap is a potential deal breaker when Arsenal are involved....
