Nasri - I need to win trophies!!!!!
Nasri is a chicken, who is looking for an easy option.
City won the FA Cup so its clear they'll go on to win more trophies.
If we've given up on Wenger is it any suprise the players have?
Im sure Cesc and Nasri asked Wenger any plans for reinforcements and he essentially said no, from then on they want out.
Listen to Wengers latest comments, sound like a man willing to change? Nope, more WengerSpeak, and essentially admitting 'steady as she goes' with the plan. players are trying to salvage/build their careers so they're leaving.

Fuck Nasri, the only level of consistancy he has ever achieved is being average. On his day a very talented player, but by no means irreplaceable, gives it all the bollocks about wanting to leave to win trophies, he had a perfectly good chance here, and with his form and him showing a bit of effort and ability that he has got in the second half of the season we may have stood a much bigger chance of winning something.
Get rid of the him and get someone in who wants to play for the shirt, who wants to play for the ARSENAL

Perfectly good chance? So it was all Nasri's fault?AFCWozza wrote:Fuck Nasri, the only level of consistancy he has ever achieved is being average. No chance of silverware next season unless it's another crack at the League Cup.
Plenty of 16 and 17 year olds who want to play for Arsenal. Is that what you want?
Some fans always seem to baffle me.
Yes, ManUre is probably a better option than ManCity in terms of which team is more likely to win trophies, but lets face it - either of these teams show way more ambition than Arsenal. If he went to ManUre some here would probably dismiss Nasri's trophy hunt on the basis that 'If he wantd trophies he would go to Barca'. Loads of other factors aside from the most important (trophies) such as future manager/teammates, where the club is located, how much money is on offer, and which club is showing more progress (thus future potential).
Incidentally, over the past couple of years, out of Chelsea ManU Arsenal and ManCity, it is actually ManCity that has shown more progress, and with the ambition they are showing its not unreasonable to think its a matter of time before they start winning more trophies. Maybe Nasri wants to be grow with a club like ManCity and be a key factor helping ManCity win their first Premier League Title rather than just joining a team thats always winning titles?
Some players (especially 'luxury' players) need good players/tactics/work ethic around them to flourish. I class Nasri in that type of player. The current Arsenal team really hampers him, and mark my words - if he goes to ManUre or a good ManCity team, he will be outstanding.
We as fans are falling right into the trap set by the Arsenal board - Arsenal get a bidding war going maximising how much money coming in while the Arsenal fans villify Nasri (questioning Nasri's commitment, moral code, and remarkably his talent) taking the attention away from the real core issue of this Arsenal team being systematically destroyed by the stubbornness of the *word censored* Wenger.
Mugs, the lot of you

Get rid of Wenger bring in a manager who will bring in new ideas.A manager who coaches teams to defend, who will buy experience not 17 year olds, who will clear out the deadwood Now that would be a good start.AFCWozza wrote:Fuck Nasri, the only level of consistancy he has ever achieved is being average. At first I was disappointed with the Nasri situation but now I've give up actualy giving a shit, the way the club is run is a joke and can't help but understand why players of quality want out!
In a perfect football world players would be loyal but when your on a sinking ship you have too get off before it's to late in my opinion!
Anyways fuck the players who want out fuck the boss and his stupid stubborn stuck in his ways attitude and fuck the nugget heads who run the club...Fuck em all, wankers!!
Saying all that tho I'll always love the club, and that's where they have us fans over a barrel I guess.

^^^ Was meant to be lighthearted comment suggesting that you (and me) have been systematically conned by Arsenal PLC. Apologies if I offended.
Ive always suggested that Arsenal deliberately opt to finish 3rd/4th over the past few years - its the sweet spot financially fo a non-ambitious club as we dont need to spend a great deal on transfers, we pay less on wages, pay less on win bonuses to players, and with us signing the odd rising star to perpetuate the hope to keep AKBs onside, only for these players to be sold off for a massive profit. We need the sprinking of mediocre players in the squad just to make sure that when to going gets tough, the mediocre hide - hence why we keep medoicre players and in the event that we are (accidently) in a 2 horse title race, we collapse.
I also firmly believe that the club deliberately lie about the imminent return of players to avoid spending money on transfers.
On top of not spending, they raise the prices by 6% - what is the excuse? All take and no give.
Really depressed - and a little drunk. Im getting off before losing all credibility (if I havent lost it already!)

Sounds just about spot on to me mate. The club has been stringing us along the whole time and finally even some of the AKBs are beginning to wake up.biglunn wrote:^^^ Was meant to be lighthearted comment suggesting that you (and me) have been systematically conned by Arsenal PLC. Difference this season is that this really is last chance saloon. Wenger HAS to do something this season or he'll be gone. Trouble is, by that time the damage will have been done - we'll have lost our best players (Nasri, Fabregas etc), RVP will follow wenger out the door and we'll plunge into mid-table mediocrity.
These are worrying times and that's not an understatement at all.
It's so obvious why Wenger isn't buying yet. He wants to get money in, before spending so we'll sell 60m worth, sign 40m worth and as others have said, pocket the surplus money plus the original supposed transfer budget. It's disgraceful to have a manager whose first priority is financial prudence instead of demanding the players he feels are good enough to win a trophy? How anyone can defend the twat in charge of our team amazes me. We should have already spent 40m by now, with another 60 to follow when Cesc, Clichy and Nas go.
No problem. I agree with everything you have said.biglunn wrote:^^^ Was meant to be lighthearted comment suggesting that you (and me) have been systematically conned by Arsenal PLC. Apologies if I offended.

I have not renewed my season tickets this year. I will pick choose the games I want to see.
I have taken a gamble and it might rebound if by some miracle AW gets back to basics rather than taking us off the edge of the cliff on which we currently sit.
Being a old cynic and pessimist I just can't see us getting out of this tricky spot unless there is a radical change.

I know this from the News Of The Screws but it really is a load of shit and goes to show you what these over-rated foreign fucking fanny rags think they are the business! He wants to win trophies? So why go to Shitty? Fucking frog mercenary - hate the c**t!
Nasri told the News of the World: "Money has never been my motivation. I have always taken decisions from a football point of view. I don't want to sign for a club where I wouldn't be playing the football that I like, where I wouldn't feel happy, just for the sake of money - yeah and my dad's the fucking pope!
He forgot to mention that he was a relatively unknown player before he came to Arsenal - and even with ALL of Wenger's faults he not only made him a better player but gave him a bigger stage on which to show himself...and so he is now worth more than what we paid for him...and yes! He IS a MONEY GRABBING CUNTO of the highest order

Sell the twat and let Wilshere 'Munch' the fucker when we play against whoever he squirms off to next season....
