As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
It seems I just can't win with you guys, can I? Anyway, point taken and from know on I will not close or move any thread nor delete any post - regardless of how inappropriate or whether it's a duplicate.
Feel free to write what you want, when you want and how ever often you want and when the forum goes downhill or gets closed down, well you can worry about where to go to next for your 'entertainment' then, I suppose!!
(And yes, there is a delicious and deliberate irony in me posting the same thing in two different threads!!)
Couldn't care less about Clichy to be honest... same as Cesc or Nasri.. My love of Arsenal has dropped from feeling sick after everytime they lose to now wanting the worst for them in everything and become a laughing stock so something has to get done.... The only players i really don't want to see go are RVP, Schezz, Jack and TV5... the rest can all go fu&k themselves to be honest.... I can't even bare to think of celebrating a Nasri, cesc goal next year and looking around at everyone else doing the sames knowing they don't give a shiny shite about the club i love

I will never forgive him for THAT day at St. Andrews or when he collapsed on the pitch with the ball at his feet in the 4-4 home game with the spuds. Fuck off Calamity.
With Denilshit and Bender half ways out the door that only leaves So-Shit-Ski to get rid of and I'll be happy.

yeah, give gibbs a chance to injure his fingernails on the second match of the season
we need someone who can defend consistently and play the whole season, like winterburn did. if it's a guy who can contribute up front, better even, but that's a plus.
i'm fed up with injury-prone youngsters who may become good players one day.

Knowing Wenger he'll probably play Eboue in his place !!
Don't even joke about that, I remember him being put in centre midfield against Fulham away a few years back
I've never seen Gibbs have a good game! He has the positional awareness of a 10 year old! HE's terrilbe! If he is our starting left back next season then it's all over before it has even begun!
Anyone who wants a reminder of how utterly useless he is then re-watch United spanking us in the FA CUP last year (i'd so so from behind the sofa if i was you because it is going to be pretty frightening)
I admit that on the last couple of season's form Clichy's departure isn't one that many gooners will mourn.
Then I got to thinking, Clichy looked a real prospect when he broke into the team and many of us believed he was better than Cole.
Now with his move to city all but done, should we be worried that Clichy's loss of form and regression were as much to do with Wenger's inability to coach a defence as any shortcomings on Clichy's part?
Is it possible that with a move to City and some proper coaching, Clichy will get his career back on track and become one of the best left backs in the league?
I personally think it is indeed possible, it would be another damning testimony to Wenger's management.
