As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I know if some of that was aimed at me but my post was tongue in cheek.
I deliberately missed out Gervinho & Cahill and others as it wouldn't have shouldn’t as mediocre.
I knew this but as mikey's highlighted it scratch the surface and it shows you how bad the level of the squad is.
I agree there's often good player at a smaller club. But if that’s the level your looking at our transfer policy is quickly becoming that of the s*ds!

Hell we signed Bouldy and Dixon from Stoke all those years back. I worry about the snobbery of some of our fans who think just because you play for a team who isn't in the top 6 you must be shit.
We are not in a position to pick bargains right now. We cant take any gambles.
Doyle is a big no for me, yes he is better than what we have and that is fucked up as it is. Aim higher for key areas

Couldn't agree more, say what you like about Samba, Barton and Doyle but all 3 would be big improvements on Djourou, Squillaci, Koscienly, Diaby, Song, Denilson, Chamakh, Bendtner and Vela.
Sadly not being good enough for Arsenal no longer apply's when you look at the dross getting regular game time.
I can see it now, we spend all month getting players out then struggle to get anyone in because of the time as we can just about handle negotiating one transfer a month
What about Marcus Bent, I've read he's available on a free transfer and would fit in nicely with Wenger's transfer budget. The fact that he's useless, can't shoot straight or score goals shouldn't be allowed to get in the way.
