For some reason I can't remember they had loads of Junior Gunners on the pitch with flags before the game. My lad was one of them. Highlight for him was TH14 nearly hit him with a ball during the warm up
.
Cause of the flag thing we got some free tickets, but had already bought ours so the missus came along. When we were 3-1 down she was worried I was going to blame her as a bad omen. At the end of the game she could not believe how exciting it had been, but I think we convinced her that all games are not that good.

one of the best matches i've ever been to at the Arsenal
one of the reasons i miss highbury so much is that game TBH
it was a nice hot summers day & the first home game of the season & it was the first time i went to a game in the east upper for ages, a person like myself likes to get in early to the ground to read the programme & the gooner which i remember doing that day (kinda shite doing it at the grove not the same feel)
the grass was spotless & very green even got a couple of photos somewhere cos it looked the bollocks that day & the grove was just about to get built at that point
anyways remember henry putting us ahead with a lob then suddenley out of nowhere boro were 3-1 with that goal out of nowhere & hassinwank scoring as well
thinking to myself WTF is going on here we've got this far & we fuck up now
the rest speaks for itself
bergkamp got a goal from just outside the area then pires got us back on level & jose stright away put us in front then thierry scoring a tap in
happy days that was & boro 7-0 was nice as well
(can't beat the everton game though)

I was at the 5-3 sittin in the north bank behind the goal. TH14's goal was awesome! Remember thinkin FUCK when they went 3-1 up but then one of the best attacking performances ive ever seen from then on. DB10 with a great goal then reyes scored a cracker! What a game. I also went to the game after on the wednesday vs blackburn. Got offered tickets straight after the boro game!! couldnt say no after that!!!

In the West Lower for that in my days as a Cannon Club member...moved to the Clock End for the last year at Highbury.
Was absolutley fantastic but I remember being 3-1 down and still feeling that there was no way we were going to lose, had every confidence as we were so good in 2003/2004 and the start of 2004/2005 I never tended to feel worried when I was following the Arsenal. Those first couple of months of that season I can remember being some of my most enjoyable as an Arsenal supporter.

I was there - great game - I just knew from the start we would be watching something special.
RP7 was warming up at the corner flag North Bank/East Stand and I saw his reaction when Boro's 3rd went in. His head went down and that's when I knew he loved the club as much as the fans.
Bergkamp was captain that day
Most important after the 3 points, we stretched that unbeaten run
