AKB Approach to the Transfer Window.

1) Wenger will strengthen us this Summer.
2) We can't sign any players until the 1st July.
3) Wenger will sign the players we need before the Asia Tour.
4) Wenger will sign the players we need before the Emirates Cup.
5) Wenger will sign the players we need by the transfer deadline day.
6) I have faith in the youth in the squad.
7) Wenger will re-enforce the squad in January.
8) Judge Wenger in May

At the same time as 6 we'll also hear how "player x" coming back from injury/loan will be like a new signing.

It gives me absolutely no pleasure to see the wide-eyed young optimist that we all loved, reduced to a cynical old *word censored*...

How about Marcelo from Madrid? I like him, aggressive, strong, fast and decent in attack. Madrid have just spent £26m on Fabio Contreau, may be able to get a decent deal?

Now im sure this is bollocks but this is what some fellah who claimed to have played golf with Liam Brady has posted on a website..

I can confirm the following:

1. that Arsenal have accepted a bid of £40 million and Maxwell (left back) for Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona. This deal will be finalised on friday.

2 that Sami Nasri has signed a new 5 year contract worth £100, 00 a week.

3. Denilson has agreed a deal to join Deportivo for
£3 million pounds.

All 3 of these deals were confirmed this morning after each of the 3 players and their representatives held discusions with Wenger this morning and argreements were reached.

I would personally like to thank Cesc Fabregas for all he has done for AFC. He has been an asset to the club and I wish him every success for the future.

A press conference will be held on thursday at 10am to make these announcments as well as introduce the one and only Gervinho who has been signed for an undisclosed fee believed to be in the region of £10 million . Gervinho is said to be keen to meet his new teammates and is glad that the transfer saga has ended.

I can also confirm that Arsenal have put in a bid of £18 to sign Benzema from Real Madrid who are currently considering the offer. Note IT HAS NOT YET been rejected.

Arsene Wenger is aslo set to meet with David Moyes. Wenger apparently wishes to discuss deals for Jagielka and Baines. It is also believed that Bendtner may be used as part of the offer.

Finally, expect either hazard or mata to be signed as a direct replacment for Fabregas (with Nari moving to the middle). Max budget for this deal is £20 million pounds.

Believe me or not I don't really care. I played golf with Liam Brady ( whos has also hooked me up with passes to watch the Arsenal team train next week as part of 02's family day out experience) this morning in a charity event in Dublin and this is what he assured me he knows. None of these deals will come as a surprise to anybody as they have all been widely reported in the media over the past few weeks. Anyway, you will see yourself on thursday at the press conference. Personaly I will be throwing a few quid on benzema, jagielka and hazard joining the gunners.

We will take in 50 million in transfer revenue and spend it all and more over the coming weeks.

Dublin Gooner

If that was too happen, what would be your feelings?

Not saying it's untrue but why would we get a left back in Maxwell as part of the Cesc deal and still want to talk to Moyes about Baines? :? :?

I don't want Maxwell and yes I would be disappointed if we sell Cesc for 40m.

OK, the only things he 'confirms' are that Cesc is going for £40m, with maxwell coming the other way, Nasri will stay, and Denilson is off.

With those three 'facts' I would be happy, I guess. Cesc is off, so the cash and a Left Back would be the best we could hope for. Nasri to stay 5 years, not sure if that's a good idea, but maybe the rumours about him wanting to go was just a 'give me more money' ploy, and he is 100% commited to The Arse. Not really convinced by this, but still OK. Denilson to go, brilliant!

The rest is just speculation and bids. No-one can say that Real will accept the Benzema bid, etc, but I would be happy. It's a start.

Realistically though I cannot believe that Mr. Brady would just rabbit on to some twat at the golf about all the internal Arsenal stories. That would really surprise me.
