Gervinho....

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Failed his medical yesterday so I am told!

Apparently astronauts found alien life forms on the dark side of his forehead.

Not the top quality required, plus he'll be off for to Africa for a month, plus travelling to other international matches/friendlies which is going to make him useless for countless other games.

Bored of hearing from people 'in the know' from outside the club!

Well, as long as he turns out to be the real deal i don't care how much he costs, although the fella does say that he can miss some easy opportunities......sounds like a perfect replacement for nasri.. :D

Generally yes, but I'm not sure he is really telling us anything we don't already know. It's just his opinion about how good he might be - he's not a scout, or a coach. We already know the attributes of this player, and that the club is buying him.

So he's signed finally.

If we somehow manage to keep both Cesc and Nasri, I think we've just improved our attack.

This guy coming in to replace Barry I hope, and we've gotten much stronger.

Right so I've just done a bit of research on the lad and apparently he's very very quick, can play across the front line, great dribbler, penetrative/direct, can finish as well as provide. Negative is that his work rate is shite.
