As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
The problem is that the top clubs don't want the likes of us attending matches. We don't spend as much as the corporates and we are less desirable as individuals than them.
The game in this country is undergoing a period of sanitisation (is that a word ) and the politically correct minority will prevail for the financial good of the 'business'.
This is why the club does not act to stop 'certain individuals' because they are doing the club a service. Standing, swearing, flags, chants etc. etc. are being replaced with polite applause and a complient 'audience'.
Get used to it everyone because the revolution is still a very long way off.

The fact of the matter is that a person decided to bring a flag thagt he loves. There should be no harm in that. After all, nearl every nation has been involved in one atrocity or another. If you felt so strong just bring a Greek flag.

I understand what you are saying, but in another sense the political situation of cyprus and turkey is alot different to that of the irish/english and japanese/chinese.

The point I made was speculative, what if one person found a certain flag offensive? Could be anyone for any flag for any reason.

I understand what you are saying, but in another sense the political situation of cyprus and turkey is alot different to that of the irish/english and japanese/chinese.
What if someone brought an Israel flag and it offended an Arab gooner?
Personally there shouldnt be a problem with national flags - but i do think they should be arsenal related. Im sure plenty of you have seen the english and irish flags that some fans bring which have the arsenalcannon printed on them.
