RESPECT TO BACARY SAGNA

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

RESPECT TO BACARY SAGNA

Post by QuartzGooner »

Just want to compliment Bacary Sagna on playing tonight vs AC Milan, and for turning in a decent performance.

To be mentally together to play just a week after a close bereavement shows incredible mental strength.
I would not have a problem if he took a month off to get his head straight, but there he was, a rock at right back, as usual.

some little thing should of been done for him last night even if they wore armbands cos i can't think of a song up for the guy that goes well
Sagna feels so apart with Arsenal already despite only being here since the summer
RIP Sag's brother

Yes, Sagna's brother died suddenly last week aged only 28.

As for a song, last night we sang a version of the old Steve Bould song:

Sagna, Sagna, Bacary - Sagna,
Got dodgy hair,
we don't care,
Bacary Sagna!

That's awful. If one of my brothers died, there's no way I don't think there's any way I could cope with work, or frankly seeing anyone.

Respect to Bacary. And if he misses further games this season, that'd be fine by me.

fair play to him, he did us proud on Wednesday, and is looking like a true arsenal player now.
