quelle surprise....we cant make signngs till we know whos leaving...ffs that correct in terms of replacing those who leave, but what about the players that were to be signed to supplement the squad regardless of who left??????
same old same old...even the akbs cannot defend this. i predict 1 more signing if cesc and nas stay, a CB, 2 signings if cesc goes.
completely indefensible. sure we will blow a few teams away in aug and sept, and be near the top come xmas, but we always are. as the new year kicks in the exact same thing that happens every year will occur.
busiest transfer window in history, my arse.

I think this will be the first season in ages when we start off terrible.
Cant see us getting many points in the first 5 games , and more points lost to the ****
....because other top players don't want to sign whilst the futures of our top players are up in the air. Not good players anyway.the playing mantis wrote:quelle surprise....we cant make signngs till we know whos leaving...ffs that correct in terms of replacing those who leave, but what about the players that were to be signed to supplement the squad regardless of who left??????

Why would you sign for Arsenal whilst the fucking captain of the team and Samir Nasri are talking about leaving? It doesnt leave many top "names" to play alongside does it?
If anything, the delays are being caused by those two players. Until it's resolved I don't think there will be many moves just yet. I don't see what the rush is.
I've lurked on this forum for years but had to finally use my account....
And whose fucking responsibility would you say it is to fucking well sort it out? If wenger is unable to replace quality with quality (which he quite clearly isn't) he is thus incapable of managing a club the size of Arsenal any longer, and shoulfd fuck off.kiwomya wrote:....because other top players don't want to sign whilst the futures of our top players are up in the air. and what a waste of time...
...regardless of whether they stay or not everyone knows they want to leave and will be gone next summer anyway. it wont make a rats arse difference to signing the likes of parker and cahill, who are significantly better than what we have.
its just an excuse for aw and the akbs that keeping your best players has meant lack of signings. what keeping these players does to the 'spirit' of the dressing room is another matter, although its fairly clear there is little spirit as bar one or 2 know one gives a fuck

You don't think that the priority is holding on to your best players? I don't think the Nasri situation was expected by the club this summer to be honest.

Maybe I am reading the last few posts on the previous page incorrectly but are some of ye saying that we will be ok if wenger manages to hang onto cesc and nasri cos the likes of tv5, ramsey etc will keep the shit out of the team thus making everything ok ??
If so can I just say that is wenger speak at its worst.......keep a squad that has failed for the last 6 seasons but still expect them to somehow turn into winners now
I wish to god wenger would just fcuk off out of our club cos I am fed up listening and reading his bullshit and seeing him stand idly by as all our rivals strengthen

World renowned!!! Are you serious mate! The days of us playing great football are long gone, I can't stand the way we play these days, having a hot red poker stuck up my jap's eye is a better prospect than watching the same get nowhere quick (slowly), no shooting football we now play!!!rigsby wrote:I think most top players would want to play for us, we just wont pay the money for them. Arsenal are a huge name, and the football is world renowned.
