Would love to do this at some point. How long you taking to do it?the playing mantis wrote:going california in late sept, pretty much the whole coast from san fran down to san diego then inland, anyone got experience of the west coast, and have recommendations of places that cant be missed?
I've got 8 days in NYC early September & long weekends later this month for the Cologne & Benfica games. Might make a few days of the CL qualifier if we get someone decent & I have the monies.

Highway 1 between Santa Barbara and Monterey Bay is a pretty cool drive. Post Ranch Inn (Big Sur) is an amazing place to stay but expensive. Hearst Castle is kind of interesting if you're into that sort of thing.the playing mantis wrote:going california in late sept, pretty much the whole coast from san fran down to san diego then inland, anyone got experience of the west coast, and have recommendations of places that cant be missed?
