At least we'll finish relatively high up on one table this season :P

A financially sound and profitable club is fine, but not when it's at the expense - no pun intended - of trophies and better players.

Whatever your thoughts are on the club - it's pretty impressive...

It shows what a new stadium can do in regard to adding value to the club. But another 6 baron years in the trophies department, and we'll be nowhere near the top 10.

According to that list, manyoo are top of the value league.

I accept that. But they also say that manyoo have 333million "supporters" worldwide.

By my reckoning, this means that roughly one out of every 200 people on the entire planet is a manc scum bastard.

Or have I got my decimal points fucked up? :?

Actually its worse if that's true - more like one in every twenty

to be fair my knowledge of american football pretty much starts and stops with channel 4's late night programs back in the 80's :D

The patriots dominated the nfl more or less for the past decade and it kills me to say that cos i hate their cheating coach bilicheck and some of their players. Funnily enough two of the richest nfl franchises are the redskins and the cowboys and those *word censored* win fcuk all although at least the redskins are investing in players in an attempt to win (unless the mighty AFC of course  )

One in twenty cannot possibly be true.

I think the American version of a million is one hundred thousand.

Elsewhere, a million is one thousand thousand.

I still might have my decimal points fucked up, though. :?

No - we all count the same million the same way. I think if anything Forbes is wrong. Their number is bullshit That's one third of one billion. If that were true I'd vote for Sarah Palin and count on her convincing herself God wanted her to launch our nukes.

Is the American billion 1million x 1 million? Or is it 100,000 x 1 million?
