Re: Winning with foreigners no 2?
The more wide-spread scouting systemQ1 What do you believe are the reasons for the influx of foreign players to the Premier league?
They do, I think it is a good impact. If there were no foreigners in the Premiership, then average English players would play in top sides. That means English players have to be top standard in order to play for the best teams in Champions LeagueQ2 Do foreign players have an impact on home grown players?
Q3 Do you agree or diasagree that 'foreigners' involvement within the Premier league affects the results and performances of the National team?
I disagree. Where were the foreigners during the last century when England won one World Cup. The English media expects too much and finds excuses such as "too many foreigners". The English squad is stronger now than it was in 80s
Well, technical ability of youngsters can be increased from young age. It has been highlighted by many experts, foreign and English. Arsene Wenger bought Fabregas when he was 15 from Barcelona because Cesc had brilliant technical ability, not because he was a foreigner. Arsene Wenger bought Freeman from Gillingham this season, this shows that he isn't bias against English players. The more technically good English players there are, the more opportunities there will be for English players in top clubs like ArsenalQ4 What changes could be made to increase the numbers of English born players or (UK) in the Premier league?
Not reallyQ5 Do you believe 'foreigners' have a deterimental effect on any aspect of the English game?
Arsenal is much more important to me than any country. Explanation, I prefer club-football to international and I am quite anti-nationalisticQ6 Is the success of your club team who you support week in and week out more of a priority than the performances and results of the National team? 1. Money for some - Play in the toughest league for others - Home grown talent is also overpriced with cheaper options in Africa & Europe, so that where teams buy in the main
2. Some yes some no - on balance foreign talent adds to our game
3. No, if players are good enough they will be good enough to win trophies at national level - English players are generally overrated
4. Coach and spot talent at earlier age - Possibly take ten years to see any benefits. Part of the problem is the natural abilities of home grown talent - Quotas are not the answer to the problem, they just stife competition
5. No - Foreigners cannot be blamed for our own shortcomings.

Here we go again:-
The increase in foreign managers that know their own turf. More widespread scouting and the over-priced English players that do not represent true value for money.Q1 What do you believe are the reasons for the influx of foreign players to the Premier league?
Yes, they teach our boys ball skills and how to pass etc. instead of 'get in there my son' and 'hit it long, now'Q2 Do foreign players have an impact on home grown players?
I've no doubt that it does as our better English players are often sat on the bench whilst a foreign player is preferred for the first team. However, it is down to the English player to raise his game and earn a team place by merit not just by passport.Q3 Do you agree or diasagree that 'foreigners' involvement within the Premier league affects the results and performances of the National team?
A change in attitude at grass roots level and a different approach to player development from a young age. In this country we take 22, 9 year old boys and put them on a full size pitch. They have so much time and space why do they need to learn control etc? If they learned the skills and became better players then they would get into teams ahead of others.Q4 What changes could be made to increase the numbers of English born players or (UK) in the Premier league?
Yes, they give the xenophobic morons in this country an excuse for why the National team are not doing well and make it easier to blame another instead of addressing their own problems. If there were no foreigners in the premiership the National team would still be as bad but the FA would have to address the issue as they could not lay the blame elsewhere.Q5 Do you believe 'foreigners' have a deterimental effect on any aspect of the English game?
Without a doubt. I am an Arsenal fan. I would love to see England win the world cup as it would show that we are capable of developing quality players, but I would be happier to see Arsenal win any trophy. There are always going to be players in the national team that I do not like, either because of their comments/behaviour towards my club (A. Cole, Fat Lumplard etc.)or because they play for a rival team that I dislike ( Robinson, Rooney etc.) I cannot put my dislike of people aside just because they are wearing a different shirt.Q6 Is the success of your club team who you support week in and week out more of a priority than the performances and results of the National team? Q1 What do you believe are the reasons for the influx of foreign players to the Premier league?
They are quality. Simple as. If you are good enough, it does not matter where you come from. Then the fact is that the Premiership is the best league in the world so everyone wants to play there.
Q2 Do foreign players have an impact on home grown players?
Well maybe keep them on the bench if they are better. Or maybe help them try harder to get in the team.
Q3 Do you agree or diasagree that 'foreigners' involvement within the Premier league affects the results and performances of the National team?
Well if the English players are good enough then it should not matter and they should be in the team, if not then nobody can blame the foreigners for being good enough.
Q4 What changes could be made to increase the numbers of English born players or (UK) in the Premier league?
Getting them into the academys at an early age and give them their chance and if they are good enough, they are good enough if not they don"t make it.
Q5 Do you believe 'foreigners' have a deterimental effect on any aspect of the English game?
Well they can make it better if they are good players. If they are good players then it should not matter where they are from.
Q6 Is the success of your club team who you support week in and week out more of a priority than the performances and results of the National team? Please explain
Club 100%. At Arsenal it does not matter where a player come from and that is they way it should be. It does not matter where you are from, it is how good you are. So club for me.
