I think some of you have misunderstood the purpose of this thread. It's not for Wenger's old quotes but for any new ones he goes on to make.

Didnt know where else to put this little bit of info and didnt want to start a new thread mentioning this lest I be accused of starting a vanity thread (

) but I didnt know prior to reading this month's 4-4-2 magazine that -

1. Boro primorac was a central figure in the valenciannes/marseille match fixing corruption scandal in french football in the early 90's when he was manager of valenciennes

2. There was an investigation into an irregular 1m payment AFC made to beveren in the belgian league a few years back

Seems like wenger has a habit of associating with dodgy characters/situations
