No excuses Wenger, everyone knows the money is there so you need to spend it on established quality. Last chance saloon!
Yeh and establishecd quality really does the business eh? - Torres, Benayoun, Joe Cole ring to mind all of a sudden.
You really are a dizzy fucker, aren't you? Since when have Cole and Benayoun been "established quality"? Both are just about above average at best.

Torres, the jury is out on, but looks like proving to be a one season wonder.

So what the fuck does that prove? They are NOT established quality, and even if they were, you are basically saying we shouldn't try and by in quality because players at another club didn't cut the mustard. You are a dildo.

Guys, I thought Almunia was out of contract this summer, right? I just noticed that Szczesny will have squad number 13 this season, so that means we're gonna sign a new goalkeeper...

Just seen this on The Times web site. Unlikley I guess, but certainly would make NLD's very lively

"Tottenham Hotspur made a fresh approach to sign Emmanuel Adebayor on loan last night, with an offer to pay less than half his £175,000-a-week wages.
Harry Redknapp, the Tottenham manager who has made signing a top striker his priority, has offered to pay £75,000 a week to the former Arsenal forward, leaving Manchester City to pick up the rest of his salary.
Adebayor was left out of City’s pre-season tour to the United States and deemed surplus to requirements after he returned from a loan spell at Real Madrid. He scored twice for the Spanish club against Tottenham in the Champions League quarter-final, first leg, in March.
City, who paid £25 million for Adebayor two years ago, will not adopt their previous stance of refusing to sell a player to Tottenham. Adebayor alleged that Spurs fans had abused him in the 4-0 victory at the Bernabéu, but later claimed that he would still consider a move to White Hart Lane"

Simply because the manger wants whats flavour of the month.
Benayoun and Cole had a good few seasons at West Ham thats it.....

Readily Available, hmmmmm

1. Not what id want to see But Scott Parker has quality and could no doubt do a job for us.
2. Samba The Right Money from any club and blackburn would sell.
3. Defoe  Proven Goalscorer, Scum want to sell.
4. Warnock Was class for villa at left back last season, again the right money and villa would snap it up.

"If we found an established, world-class player and we thought the economics made sense and he would add to what we could do on the pitch, then there's no philosophical objection to that," Gazidis said.

Are you a few sandwiches short? You are the one saying you want pl experience, you are the one who criticised buying established quality, so if you leave out the quality what are you left with? Simply someone with pl experience ie established, because to have experience you must be established.

Can I play 'real world' ?

So, I should start doing my coaching badges, then when I've got those get a job at a non-league club, get some practical training, then hopefully be spotted by a 1st or 2nd division club, work hard and be noticed by one of the big boys, but hold out until The Arsenal come in for me, then get a job there, and slowly work my way up within the Club, before getting the No. 2 position next to Wenger, and when he retires take over his position and then buy a centre back?

Yeah, that's a great idea. Thanks for that.

This is an internet forum, and about as far removed from the 'real world' as you can get.

I want us to buy PL experienced defenders, and I suggest getting Vincent Kompany and Nemanja Vidic, with Samba and Cahill as back-up.

Easy, this 'real world' stuff, isn't it. Isn't it?

Point Nr. 1. None of the above are defenders.
Point Nr. 2. Only Ronaldo has PL experience.

But other than that I agree 100%.

So this is the way that the Arsenal media (directed by Wenger & Gadzidis) are playing it....

I recall when that wankclown eboue got booed off the pitch - deservedly so.....and about 2 weeks later when all the hubhub had dies down...he did a series of interviews on Arsenal.com....and eventually they 'wormed' him back into the squad etc - to the point where some fucktards actually designed T-shirts with the *word censored* face on etc etc - a real media job was done on the AKB brigade...and so we have another example of how the Arseanl media machine are preparing us for the 'arrival' of Kyle Bartley as a regualr team player at C.Back.....it'll be just like a new signing....

http://www.arsenal.com/news/reserves-ne ... t-team-now

I'm sure he's got potential etc...but...yeah "But"

Maybe I've got it all wrong...but the way we've been (and are being) manipulated by wenger and the board etc - makes me realise we can't believe a fucking word they come out with....

There again maybe he'll be Brilliant and surprise us all - well me !
