As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Maybe not as a first team player immediately, but can you imagine the lift he will give to the training sessions.
Just for the reasons that I said I think he'll help the Club.
Found this video compilation of him in the game against PSV, where he played at centre back, was commanding, and controlling the defence, and almost scored as well.
He certainly looks a prospect, and if he develops well he would be just what we need.
The video is only 4:27 long, and it's worth watching it.
Well, Almunia, Fabianski, Squillachi, and dare I say it, Cesc and Nasri, as well as Arshavin. Throw in a Walcott and a Djourou, and then...
If all those goes we could be struggling to field a team, considering that Wenger will probably bank all the money and won't get anyone in. And all sales would be done on the 31st of August

And some on here are happy to slate the lad, who at only 19 years of age shows mature defensive understanding and play, behaves like a leader, committed and a fighter, is English, came through our academy and wants to be an Arsenal player. Shameful.

Some ?? One fella slated him to the best of my knowledge
@AA23Northbank - agreed that they would probably all be gone on the last day, and we would be stuck with the Carling Cup team, but would that be that bad?
At least they have something to prove, which it looks like most of our 'first team' haven't any more.
