Last season Wilshire and Ramsey looked like a good partnership, which helps to soften the blow.
My biggest worry is that we end up with both Cesc and Nasri still at the club for the start of next season. The fans will have definitely have fallen out of love with one of them (Sami) and may start to get tetchy with the other if he doesn't play amazing every game (Cesc.)
Cesc needs to go now, the fact that he's avoided pre season is disrespectful, if we agree a fee tomorrow he will get through a medical, that you can be sure off.

That's exactly why it was done...if Fabregas goes, that money will never be used, and you were already being conditioned to believe that Ramsey would replace Fabregas.
It's another big fat con by Wenger. Of course he can realistically keep this shit going until August because he has no intention of replacing Fabregas.
