Bought a house...smashes a hole and found....

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

SammyDroppedHisShorts wrote:Haha yes well we bought a property in a place called Friston in Sussex. It needed a lot of work and the renovations are still on going. knocking through at the ground floor has unearthed some interesting things.

I wondered why the 'cellar' had been bricked up but then it was simple...a lower holding cooler has been built with the garage which hadn't been used for years...the entrance to the holding had a door which had become overgrown with the locally abundant ivy. Nobody had ever chopped it down.

I am still in the process of trying to find out why the wall was bricked up in the interior of the house.......one is interested to knock down some more......
Whatever you do Sammy DON'T DIG DOWNWARDS!!!...or you WILL find the reason for the space being 'Bricked Up'...(especially as there are no motorways near you!)...

Something very large. If the one you drunk was at 2600 and you had 18 good'uns then I'd say 5k is way low?
