Haven't we got a back 4 to sort out first? That Juan Mata seems like an exciting prospect but surely we'd better spend £17m on someone who can strengthen our back-line...
Apparently wenger's ready to move for mata and jagielka.
Is it me or is 20million for a 29 year old defender with just a handful of international caps a but steep? Probably another four years at the top level then thats it.
Surely Nasri either has to sign before the start of the season or we let him go - even for 10 million. Keeping him to leave on a Bosman next summer is madness.
With these two latest (Strong) rumours...we can see what AW is up to
He's playing hard ball with barcawhores - mpay up or shut up...knowing full well that Cesc IS going to go...so he's ensuring he gets as much moolah for him as possible...he's bringing in Mata and holding onto Nasri in the hope his plan works and Nasri does indeed sign a
new contract and shoring up the defence with Jagielka....
We still need a goalie though...Shez is going to be the business but isn't quite ready for a full season....Given would have been ideal....also we do need a new left back Enrique woould fit in very well.....Baines is a no go if we do get Jagkiela, as there's no way Moyes will let 2 of his defence go.
im happy enough to see jagileka come in , dont know a lot about mata but graham hunter says he,s a good one. i know hunter is a dick but he knows la liga.
If Mata signs we'ld have two naturally wide attackers in Gerv and him (RVP can interchange) Nasri in the Cesc role. We'ld look a bit more settled up front at least. It would also show Nasri a signal of intent, Wenger could tell him he wants the team built around him or some other bollocks to feed his ego.
Jagielka would be a good organising presence at the back which we need. And with him and TV they would at least have a bit of bite at the back.
I love Cesc but I think we all know he's off. Fair play to us for holding out for over 40 mil (imo it should be 50) for him. It'll be a sad day to see him in that shirt. Let's hope he realises they're *word censored* and comes back

The guy will easily replace nasri I rekon.
seem him play a few times and he's got the vision ten time better than nasri - he'll link up with RVP - GET IN THERE WENGER

Absolutely correct. Yet another example of Wenger getting his priorities wrong. We need a left back and centre back first.
