New York Red Bulls match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

New York Red Bulls match thread

Post by Basil is a Gooner »

Thought I would get this started.

I am going today and am more looking forward to seeing TH14 than the Arsenal.

Is that wrong? :?: :?

I am not going today but will sit on my sofa singing 'Arsene give us a wave' because in Arsene we trust!

Maybe not lose but a few disastrous defensive errors would be ok to give the manager of the decade a kick in the rectum.

Yesterday was enough to last me a season. I won't be watching today. Fuck 'em.

I hope that TH gets a game, and puts a few of our defenders on their arse.
Would not be too distraught if he scored either.

What I really want though is for TH to tell AW ( whether by words or actions ) that we need to sort out our defence - and sharpish.

Want The Arsenal to win though. Perfect result for me a 6-5 win, with our attack combining beautifully and getting valuable playing time together, so that they are sorted for the Premier League start, and more importantly for the Champions League qualifier, and for our defence to be shown up for the liability that they are, so that Wenger ( or Kroenke ) has to act.

Henry is 4-1 at William Hills to score against us at anytime during the game.... I think even Stephen Hawking could score against our defence...

Starting lineup

Szczespy

Sagna Koz TV5 Gibo

Aaron Song Jack

Tr7 RVP Gervinho

Hopefully we'll see Lansbury and Bartley get a good run today.

Basically the full A-Team outside of Walcott for TR7 and Fabregas for Ramsey.

Why do we need Nasri again? Let the *word censored* leave.
