Some Captain eh?
Sorry but captain or no captain, why the fuck would he want to stay and play with a bunch of c**ts under a c**t of a manager and win fuck all again, or go home and play with quality players and win trophies?
Because he chose to sign a contract to get paid around 90k a week to do so.

Whether Cesc stays or goes the fact is we will not win owt as long as Wenger is manager.

Plus agreed to get his wage increase pack-dated for 2 years, so got a £3million 'sweetener' as well.

And who was it that offered him the deal? And isn't it the case that one of the reasons the club did so was because they knew that they would eventually have to sell Fabregas and thus wanted to protect themselves to ensure they could get a good price. So let's get it straight, the Cesc contract situation isn't and wasn't designed so that the only one that benefits is Fabregas.

How ironic then that we've apparently acted in a different way with Nasri and risk losing him for nothing. Although some of you might think that they're both acting like crunts, I know which method of contract negotiation I prefer.

Yes, because in truth it was.

Mine, on the other hand, was a beautifully constructed and original joke (albeit on an old theme) that came organically and instantly to me, rather than being a contrived and forced effort. You see, that's what us naturally talented people can do and what separates us from the mere mortals. 8)

Good points, and clearly we are in a strong position now with Cesc, but I'm sure we tried to do the same with Nasri, but he just wouldn't sign, which I think makes Nasri's case far worse than Cesc's.

Everyone can understand Cesc's dilemma. It would be the same for all of us if we were put in his position and the team wanting us was The Arsenal.

Still a bit sickening that he got his £3m and then almost immediately afterwards started making noises about wanting to go home.

Plus his 'injury' at the end of the season?!?

Nasri though? Tosser! Through and through! Good riddance - but for cash!
Please don't let this arsehole stay for one more season, and then go on a free!

I don't see how we are in a strong position, granted he has time on his contract but its clear that this is a one club auction, he's already made it clear that if he don't get his move then we won't get maximum effort or commitment.

We will get left with a dilemma, keep a demotivated player or sell for less than we want.

At least with Nasri we stand a chance of seeing him play out of his skin to secure the best move/most money, Cesc will just sulk, be reckless and petulant like he was last season.

We're obviously in a terrible position, otherwise Wenger's comments would be stronger.

He said yesterday that the only deadline was August 31st, so any ideas of Arsenal calling time on barcelona are misplaced - we'll accept whatever bid they offer come the end of the month.

It's ridiculously weak of us, but there you go.

Bullish talk of keeping Nasri are not as bullish anymore either - we're being bitch slapped hard at the moment, that's for sure!

Although that's probably where you went wrong. I've found from personal experience that it's very difficult to simultaneously have sex and write new material, because it's hard to devote 100% effort to both.
