New York Red Bulls match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Love them both. Our current crop are just a poor shadow of these two.

Fucking legend. Near brings a tear to my eye. So beautiful to see someone so loyal, thankful, and grateful to have played for Arsenal (or any team for that matter).

Where is that today? It's a rarity in modern sport but it's extinct at Arsenal.

And it just goes to show how badly the fans miss having heroic players wearing the kit - Wright, Rocky, Henry - we cheered louder for TH14 than ANY of our own today, save maybe RVP (who deserves some respect for probably being the most Arsenal player we have, alongside Wilsh).

I am so glad that I didn't go to The Emirates Cup this year!!! The spectators reminded me of the screaming,oblivious,pre-pubescant crowd that you used to see on "World of Sport" when they showed the England v Scotland schoolgirl Hockey match!!!
Everytime that the cameras panned around them, there they were with their phones, and video cameras. WATCH THE FUCKING GAME!!!
Fair enough,a lot of them did Henry proud, but apart from that, they were just a bunch of tourists that would have probably been just as happy with upper circle tickets for Mama Mia!!!
The highlights for me were the performances of Gervinho,Frimpong, and Rosicky,(who gave us a glimpse of the promise that we saw when he first came to the club).

Just got home and there were people in the crowd with Chelsea shirts on. Man Utd shirts. Liverpool shirts. Leicester City shirts. Sheffield Wednesday. West Ham shirt. Barcelona , Inter Milan .Newcastle and Cardiff City shirts on!!

Just got home and the depression is setting in. My Dad summed it up when he said that if it wasn't so serious we would laugh about it. Honestly, if Spurs were being embarrassed in such a fashion we would be pissing ourselves - the problem is that this is not Spurs, it's us.

I saw a dickhead today with "Arsene Knows" printed on his new shirt. I could have cried for him, but really just wanted to knock his teeth in.

We are genuinely in all sorts of trouble and our season will be over after a fortnight - one point from nine, and out of the European Cup. At that point Wenger will be sacked, but it will be all too late to change anything.

I've just fixed it for you.
