So, what are you looking forward to in the coming season?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Not feeling like I have to attend games because I hold a ST!!

This season I will be picking my games carefully and if things go the way I think they will, then I won't be attending many if any at all after Christmas until Wenger has finally gone! :barscarf:

Yeah, you're probably right, but watching today there's no urgency in their play and its so slow going for goal, I kept yelling out to fucking speed up and my son told me to stop swearing cos everyone could hear me it was so quite

Untrue.

He's only untouchable while the fan base largely refuses to call for his head. Proper fan pressure could remove Wenger.

Fans at the grove seem to want to boo everything except the bloke responsible..

People who run club will never allow it happen.

He is manager of Arsenal till 2014 at least.

Even TH14 said Wenger should be given job for life. It's all part of propaganda.

Gazidis also said that the fans can decide Wenger's future at the club. The only thing to do with this argument is to wait and see but i think you should never underestimate how much widespread fan protest scares the shit out of football club owners, especially if it is coupled with a run of shitty results.

Gervinho, Wilshere, Jenkinson (actually), and Ramsey. No particular order.

If nothing else, I'd be happy this season if Wilshere and Ramsey stay healthy and have strong seasons.

20 years and you still not bored(Down Marty) with it?

Not to pick on your thread LDB, but I would rather argue our good points than laugh at Liverpool, because I don't think they worth anything. I am more worried about our back 4 tbh

Its not necessarily a thread about liverpool, i was being facetious of the fact that we're probably gonna have a *word censored* of a season. Although i am looking forward to tens of millions of pounds worth of average talent along with "King Kenny"'s army of sycophants be bitterly disappointed by their mediocrity.

As for our good points..

... we balance the books?
... we have a new stadium?

ummm...

... we have some excellent young talent that we will utterly waste for a couple more years before they all decide to move to a real football club and not a nursery?

Ok, last one wasnt very positive but you get the idea

The only thing to look forward to is a new manager, a new era and a clean slate with different issues.

Thats how depressing the club is at present.
